My Counselling Approach

Every person is unique. While I draw on a variety of therapeutic modalities, I tailor my approach to suit your unique personality and needs. No matter what you bring, I will offer a warm, attentive and sensitive environment for you to talk with me in.
I integrate a variety of counselling approaches and strategies. These are Person-Centered, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness Based Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (MCBT), Solution Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Strengths-based approach, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and other bits and pieces from various therapy models.

How many sessions will I need?

It will depend on your unique life situation. Some people do well with only a few sessions, while others may need more support. Others may need long-term counselling and return on and off over some years.
However, this is your decision to make. We will discuss your progress as we go along to make sure that you are happy with the outcome of your counselling and the progress you are making.
